In conversation with artist Alan Rogers

Jan. 26, 2021, 12:43 p.m.

We talk to award-winning artist Alan Rogers about what death, dying and bereavement mean to him.

Alan Rogers is the winner of the 'Most likely to start a conversation prize,' in our recent Art & Death Exhibition.

His artwork Zio intrigued the team and we all saw different things in his outstanding piece of art.

We were lucky enough to chat to him about his art and about what death, dying and bereavement means to him.

You can watch our conversation here:

We were so fortunate to have such outstanding artists contribute to our online exhibition and we're delighted to announce that we'll be holding another one very soon - watch this space! We strongly believe that creative expression can help us to talk about difficult subjects.

If you've been interested in our art and death exhibition, you may also be interested in our virtual Literary Festival, including incredibly talented writers Hope Edelman and Elaine Kasket to name but a few. Full information on that event can be found on our Literary Festival page
